The Boston-based, professional market research firm BTI Consulting Group recently ranked Kessal, Young & Logan as among the top 30 U.S. law firms for client service, according to The Survey of Client Service Performance for Law Firms.
BTI surveyed more than 250 corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 (and other large) companies in its seventh annual survey, selecting the top 30 firms based on 17 attributes it considers vital to superior client relationships. According to BTI, the most important of these attributes are: client focus, value for the dollar, understanding the client’s business and commitment to help.
“The BTI Client Service 30 is the cream of the crop of The BTI Client Service A-Team …Firms scoring at the top of the BTI Client Service 30 have truly differentiated themselves in the eyes of clients.” The select 30 law firms performed four to 15 times better than their peers, on average. KYL is the only firm with fewer than 100 lawyers ranked in the BTI Client Service 30.
In addition to KYL’s collective achievement, BTI nominated KYL partners Peter Boutin and Lisa Bertain to be part of the 2008 Client Service All-Stars Team, which honors individual attorneys who have provided outstanding client service. KY&L is one of only 25 law firms in the United States which had two or more individual lawyers singled out in the BTI survey.
This is the second time Lisa Bertain has been named to BTI’s Client Service All Star Team for delivering outstanding client service. Peter Boutin was one of three lawyers in the U.S. nominated by multiple clients as a BTI Client Service All-Star for delivering outstanding client service.
