Keesal Young and Logan interns volunteered their time to help local children start the upcoming school year off on the right foot.
This month our interns helped to pack and deliver more than 1,400 backpacks for the first packing session of “It’s in the Bag,” conducted by the Assistance League of Long Beach’s Operation School Bell program. The backpacks, each stuffed with two new uniforms, will be given to kindergarten-bound Head Start children beginning school in the fall.
As an associate sponsor for the program, KYL is humbled to facilitate such an incredible operation for youth in need.
