On Oct. 1, 2010, Keesal, Young & Logan founding partner Skip Keesal will be presented with the Champions of Justice Award at Loyola Law School’s sixth annual Champions of Justice tribute and dinner, taking place at 6:30 p.m. in the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Each year, the Civil Justice Program at Loyola Law School honors two distinguished lawyers—one primarily representing plaintiffs and one primarily representing defendants—who embody the spirit of the civil justice system through their exceptional legal careers. This award is granted to lawyers who are ideal models for law students—those who are effective advocates for their clients, practice with the highest ethics and are respected across the bar for their integrity.

Sharing the honor with Keesal, Brian Panish of Panish, Shea & Boyle LLP will also receive the Champions of Justice Award, which will be presented to both gentlemen by Jim Tricarico, the General Counsel of Edward D. Jones and Co., L.P.

The opening reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom of the Beverly Hills Hotel, located at 9641 Sunset Blvd., Beverly Hills, Calif. 90210.
