Peter Boutin of Keesal, Young & Logan’s San Francisco office has been elected President of the Federal Bar Association’s Northern District of California Chapter for the 2017 term. Other officers elected include Michelle Roberts Bartolic as President-Elect and the Hon. Paul Grewal (Ret.), Deputy General Counsel of Facebook Inc., as Vice-President-San Jose.
The FBA’s Northern District Chapter sponsored more than a dozen programs on federal practice and procedure in 2016. Upcoming FBA events include programs on litigating Qui Tam cases (January 17) and Intellectual Property cases (February 23). On March 23, Mr. Boutin will preside at the Chapter’s 39th Annual Luncheon honoring the Judges of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
