Products Liability

In addition to other areas of personal injury litigation, Keesal, Young & Logan has extensive experience in the area of strict products liability. Our experience in product defect and failure to warn cases has involved a wide range of products from raw materials to component parts to fully manufactured items, including:  asbestos, silicone, industrial gasses, lubricants, ladders, table saws, conveyor systems, elevators, forklifts, product handling equipment, and automobile and truck parts such as windshields, seats, and air brakes. We have represented both product manufacturers and those in the chain of distribution.

Our experience with products liability cases includes individual injury claims, multiple injury and death claims (such as those arising out of major aviation and industrial accidents), as well as mass action litigation such as that involved in the asbestos, silica, and breast implant litigations. Keesal, Young & Logan attorneys have experience in every stage of products liability litigation from the initial, pre-litigation accident investigation through pretrial discovery, trial, and appeal in state and federal courts.

Over the years, our clients have included both small manufacturing companies and major corporations, including:  Valero Energy Corporation, ExxonMobil, Union Carbide, Praxair, Air Liquide, United Technologies, American Express, Rapistan, Holly Heater, and Lear Siegler Diversified Holdings.
