Amanda Outcalt is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its San Francisco office. Her practice includes a broad range of civil litigation matters primarily in the employment, maritime, and securities areas.

Amanda graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco, School of Law in May 2023. While in law school, she was a member of the McAuliffe Honor Society, USF Law Review, and earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing, Constitutional Law, and Property Law. She also served as a board member for the USF Moot Court Program, the Women’s Law Association, and the Environmental Law Society, and as a Research Assistant for the Director of Legal Research and Writing. During her time in the Moot Court Program, Amanda won the 2021 USF Law Advocate of the Year Competition. Through the USF Intellectual Property Clinic, Amanda drafted and submitted a patent and two trademark applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and she worked on a trademark dispute in litigation during her final semester of law school.

Prior to law school, Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marine and Coastal Sciences from the University of California, Davis. During her time there, Amanda competed for the school’s Division 1 Women’s Lacrosse Team. Amanda loves trying new recipes or spending time outdoors at San Francisco’s beautiful parks and beaches.

Amanda has been admitted to practice in the state of California since 2023.
