Christopher Cammiso is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. His practice includes a broad range of civil litigation matters, representing clients in healthcare, securities, employment, and maritime cases. Chris is also certified in Mediation by the National Conflict Resolution Center.

Chris has experience representing providers in complex healthcare litigation matters involving the CARES Act, ERISA, and claim reimbursement issues. In his securities practice, Chris defends financial firms and advisors against a variety of claims in both judicial and arbitration forums. Chris also represents employers in judicial, arbitration, and administrative proceedings involving claims for discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, breach of contract, and other employment-related claims.

Chris received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, with a concentration in corporate law. While in law school, Chris worked part-time at the country’s largest independent broker-dealer, resolving a wide variety of securities complaints. He also served as a student attorney for the Entrepreneurship Clinic, providing legal assistance to local start-ups and non-profits. As a member of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team, Chris was selected to compete at the Vis Moot in Vienna, where his team advanced to the elimination rounds from a field of nearly 500 schools from across the world. In his Legal Research & Writing course, Chris earned an award for best oral advocate.

A first-generation college student, Chris received his B.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara with a double major in English and Philosophy. He spent a semester studying at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, where he also taught English at nearby townships. Chris worked part-time during undergrad at a construction litigation firm, then an estate planning firm upon graduation, prior to attending law school on a Dean’s Scholarship.
