Tara Leuenberger is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office, and is licensed
to practice law in the state of California. Her practice encompasses a wide range of civil litigation
matters, with a focus on securities, employment, and maritime law.
Tara earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law in 2024. While in law
school, Tara spent two semesters with UCI Law’s Community and Economic Development Clinic,
where she worked on legal issues involving housing stability, small business formation, nonprofit
support, and policy advocacy for low- and moderate-income populations. In addition, she was an
active contributor to UCI Law’s nationally recognized pro bono program.
Prior to law school, Tara received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Marquette University
College of Business Administration and was awarded the Service and Leadership Award in
Economics. While at Marquette, Tara competed in the College Fed Challenge at the Federal Reserve
Bank of Chicago, where her team earned second place. She also held leadership positions in the
international professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, serving as both Senior Vice President
and Vice President of Pledge Education.
