Andrea Trucios is a Senior Associate in Keesal, Young & Logan’s Long Beach office. Before joining KY&L, Andrea focused on civil litigation, including workers’ compensation defense, with a primary focus on the maritime sector. A Long Beach native, Andrea has represented many employers and terminal owners at the Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles.
Andrea earned her Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University Law School in 2020. Further, she graduated with a Certificate in Business Law and a Certificate in International Law. She distinguished herself by obtaining three CALI awards during her time at law school and was a recipient of a full merit scholarship. During her time in law school, Andrea externed at a prominent Peruvian law firm, studied abroad in Germany regarding international criminal law, and externed at a California bank. Additionally, Andrea founded the Art Law Society and arranged multiple well attended events for the school.
Prior to pursuing her law degree, Andrea obtained her Bachelor of Science, from the Business School, at Tulane University. Andrea majored in Marketing and practiced in the field for two years after college. She also studied finance, accounting, and economics for her B.S. degree. Andrea’s undergraduate education provides her with a greater ability to understand her clients’ business perspective in relation to their legal matters.
Andrea was born in Lima, Peru and was raised in Long Beach, California. She enjoys both immersing herself in new cultures and being involved in her local community. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
