Adriana Erquiaga is an Associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. Her practice includes representing clients in securities, employment, maritime, and a variety of other commercial matters.

A first-generation college student, Adriana earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. She spent a semester studying in Rome where she became proficient in Italian. Adriana also interned with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office and worked part-time at a personal injury and employment law firm before graduating with honors and attending law school.

Adriana earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While in law school, Adriana participated in the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and served as Treasurer for the Latinx Law Student Association. She also served as a student attorney in USC’s Post Conviction Justice Program, representing incarcerated individuals at their parole hearings. During her final year of law school Adriana spent a semester in Milan studying international law; she also served as a section leader and mentor to incoming first year law students.

Before joining Keesal, Young & Logan, Adriana gained experience representing Fortune 500 companies as a member of the Securities Litigation Department at Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the largest global law firms. There she defended clients against all manner of breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims.  After Latham & Watkins, Adriana honed her skills as a litigator as member of the Complex Commercial Litigation group at Skiermont Derby, LLP.  Adriana has experience representing clients in complex litigation across a wide variety of industries, including hospitality, transportation and logistics, and food and dining.  Her experience has also helped her guide clients through sensitive and often complex partnership disputes and employment matters.  Adriana has defended clients in connection with harassment, age discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims.

Adriana is passionate about advocating for others and has performed appellate briefing before the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in a matter regarding Veterans’ disability ratings. There, she was responsible for locating critical statutory language, which resulted in a 3-0 decision in favor of the client and created precedent for other similarly situated cases.

When not vigorously representing her clients, Adriana enjoys swimming, aerial arts, reading, and playing with her two dogs.
