JOHN V. MYSLIWIEC

John Mysliwiec is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. His practice focuses on civil litigation, representing clients in securities, employment, and maritime matters.
John received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, John externed for the Honorable Jill L. Burkhardt of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He was the Vice President of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team, where he competed at the Vis Moot (East) in Hong Kong. He also was a research and teaching assistant and has been published in the California Regulatory Law Reporter.
Prior to law school, John taught English in Liaoning, China and then junior high history in Indianapolis, Indiana through Teach for America. John graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in political science where he played on the Johns Hopkins Men’s Basketball Team.
