Hakob J. Mesropian

 

Hakob is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. His practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, representing clients in securities, employment, and maritime matters. Hakob also advises broker-dealer clients with respect to customer complaints against financial advisors and works to successfully resolve such complaints.

Hakob received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, Hakob was designated as a Sayre Macneil Scholar (top 5% of class) and was invited to join the St. Thomas More Honor Society (top 15% of class). Additionally, Hakob externed for the Honorable R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He also participated in Loyola Law School’s Shriver Landlord Tenant Clinic and assisted low-income clients on their eviction matters. Furthermore, he was chosen to represent Loyola Law School at the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition in 2021.

Prior to law school, Hakob graduated with Distinction in General Scholarship from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in history and a minor in political economy. During his time at UC Berkeley, Hakob served as the President of the Armenian Students’ Association and received the Hrayr Terzian Armenian Alumni Award in 2019.

Outside the office, Hakob enjoys watching sports and spending time with his friends and family.

Hakob has been admitted to practice in the state of California since 2022.
