On September 8, KYL founding partner Skip Keesal and his wife Beth will be honored with the “Spirit of Beverly Hills” award for their continuous community service and engagement, as well as for the firm’s charitable efforts, at the Virginia Robinson Gardens annual Patron Gala, titled “Fiesta de los Flores.” The gala will take place on the estate grounds.

Carrying out the heydays experienced by the estate’s namesake, the Fiesta de los Flores is meant to sweep attendees back to the old West, and will be replete with “beautiful senoritas, rope-swinging cowboys” and “violins and guitars of the mariachi,” as the event itinerary states. The event is a throwback to early “Fiesta de los Flores” parades, the early 1900s predecessor to today’s Tournament of the Roses Parade.

Beth and Skip, described by the event itinerary as “an owner and lover of horses and a rope-swinging cowboy himself,” have devoted endless hours to charity, and through its charitable foundation, KYL has just surpassed its $4 million donation mark in 2011 to non-profits focused on education, children, medicine and the arts.

Congratulations Skip and Beth and thank you for the years you’ve spent helping so many others!
