HomeAway sites provide vacation rental property owners and managers the most efficient way to market their properties to the millions of travelers who prefer vacation rentals over hotels.
Founded in 2000, VacationRentals.com currently lists approximately 30,000 vacation rental homes and condos; bringing the total properties advertised on the HomeAway sites to more than 205,000 globally.
HomeAway plans to run VacationRentals.com as an independent brand, with the newly-acquired business continuing to operate as it has in the past.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
