Philip Lempriere is a shareholder and member of the firm's Seattle office.  Mr. Lempriere graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1984 with a B.S. in nautical science and marine transportation.  He served as both a deck cadet and third officer aboard U.S. flag tankers.  He earned a J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco in 1989 and is a member of the Washington, Oregon, Alaska & California State Bars.

Mr. Lempriere's maritime practice includes litigation of all traditional maritime claims, including personal injury, cargo loss and damage, and vessel casualties such as collisions, fires and oil spills.  He has been the primary on-scene attorney in numerous oil pollution incidents, and is a member of our emergency response team in larger scale emergencies.

Mr. Lempriere resides in Seattle with his wife Helen and their two very active boys, JP and Gus.  Mr. Lempriere is on the board of directors of the Northwest Burn Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to prevent burns and assist burn survivors and their families.
