Neal Robb has been a shareholder of Keesal, Young & Logan in
its Long Beach office since 1987. A litigator, Mr. Robb has been
most active in defending financial services firms, with particular emphasis on securities brokers, financial
advisors, mortgage companies, credit-card issuers and consumer and business lenders. He has represented parties in hundreds of cases filed before securities arbitration groups such as the NASD, NYSE,
and PCX, as well as other "neutrals" such as the AAA. Mr. Robb also has significant
experience in handling large and complex litigation, having handled numerous
class actions, mass actions, "private attorney general" actions, and other types of complex cases.
Besides these specialties, Mr. Robb regularly handles a broad range of general
business litigation. An experienced trial lawyer, Mr. Robb has tried cases before
courts, juries, and private arbitrators.

he has received an "AV"® peer review rating from LexisNexis Mardindale-Hubbell (recognized
for the highest level of professional excellence) and was honored as a Southern
California Super Lawyer for 2007 and 2008 (based on an extensive process of balloting,
blue-ribbon panel review, and independent research). Mr. Robb is in charge
of recruiting and hiring for the firm's Long Beach office.
Mr. Robb was born in 1957, graduated with honors from the University of California,
Irvine in 1979 with a degree in English, and received his law degree from the
University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 1982. While in law school, Mr. Robb was a member (1980-1981)
and Executive Technical Editor (1981-1982) of Comm./Ent., A Journal of Communications
and Entertainment Law. Mr. Robb was admitted to the California Bar in 1982.
While in practice, Mr. Robb has served as Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles County
Municipal Court. He has also served as an arbitrator for securities and commodities
arbitration organizations. He has addressed securities industry groups
and given talks to managers and registered representatives of securities firms.
Published decisions issued in cases Mr. Robb has handled include Paul v. Friedman,
95 Cal. App. 4th 853, 117 Cal. Rptr. 2d 82 (2002), and Goodman v. CIBC Oppenheimer
Co., 131 F. Supp. 2d 1180 (C.D. Cal. 2001).
Mr. Robb has devoted a considerable amount of time to charitable causes and has
actively supported various charitable organizations, particularly those related
to autism. Currently, he is a Director and former President
of the Fragile X Association of Southern California, a charity
devoted to raising public awareness of and supporting families affected by fragile
x syndrome, a genetic disorder.
