Marc Greenberg is a shareholder in Keesal, Young & Logan's Long Beach office. Mr. Greenberg is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California who concentrates his practice in litigation involving white collar criminal defense, environmental issues and business disputes. Mr. Greenberg is also regularly involved in advising clients on regulatory compliance and the supervision of internal investigations. Mr. Greenberg is the Chairman of the Environmental Crimes Sub-Committee of the American Bar Association's White Collar Crime Committee, and is a nationally recognized speaker on white collar matters, internal investigations and electronic discovery. Mr. Greenberg is part of KYL's national emergency response team and coordinates the white collar crime issues for the team. The emergency response team consists of lawyers and consultants from various practice areas who are available 24/7 to assist clients with urgent needs that may arise immediately following a serious accident or in response to actions taken by governmental agencies.
Mr. Greenberg, during his tenure with the Department of Justice, received numerous awards and commendations, including the Department of Justice Director's Award and the Prosecutor of the Year Award from the International Association of Credit Card Investigators. His responsibilities included supervision and prosecution of long-term investigations of international money laundering, extortion and fraud-related offenses. He also serves on the Board for the Ronald McDonald House in Long Beach and the Board for the Long Beach Grand Cru, an event that supports the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
