Kelly Moynihan has been a shareholder of
Keesal, Young & Logan in its San Francisco
office since 2001.
Mr. Moynihan is a litigation attorney
who primarily focuses on the defense of financial services firms, with
particular emphasis on securities brokers. He has handled
hundreds of cases filed before securities arbitration
forums such as the NASD, NYSE, PCX, as well as before the AAA. Mr. Moynihan has also
handled class actions,
mass actions, regulatory hearings brought by securities
regulators, and other forms of complex litigation. Mr. Moynihan has arbitrated more than 50 cases to final and binding arbitration
award.
In addition, Mr. Moynihan has handled
employment and general business litigation.
Mr. Moynihan also advises securities firms regarding compliance and risk management
issues, and has given presentations to securities firms in connection with those
firms' continuing education requirements.
Born in 1966, Mr.
Moynihan graduated from
the University of California, Los Angeles in 1989
with a degree in political science, and the
University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 1993.
While in law school, Mr. Moynihan was a
member of the Hastings International and Comparative
Law Review. Mr. Moynihan was admitted to the California Bar in
1993.
