Evelyn Best is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. Ms. Best
received her B.A. degrees in political science and French from Arizona State University in 2001. In December 2003, Ms. Best received her J.D. degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law. Since joining Keesal, Young & Logan in March 2004, Ms.
Best has worked on a wide variety of general business and litigation matters, focusing on white-collar criminal defense, securities defense, Central Registration Depository record expungements from the NASD, and maritime defense. Ms. Best serves on the St. Mary's Medical Center Foundation Board, the Art Exchange Board, and the Long Beach Library Foundation Board. Ms. Best participates in the Volunteers in Parole attorney/parolee mentor program and the Long Beach Bar Foundation Shortstop Program. She was recognized by Law & Politics Magazine as one of Southern California's "Rising Stars" in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Ms. Best was admitted to the California Bar in May 2004.
