Carol
Dwyer is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office and
practices in the employment, securities and maritime litigation groups. Ms. Dwyer
received her B.A. degree in journalism, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University
in 2002. As an undergraduate, Ms. Dwyer was a staff writer for the State Press,
the University’s student newspaper. She received the Hearst Journalism Scholarship
and the Pulliam Journalism Scholarship. Ms. Dwyer also worked as a reporter and
stringer for the East Valley Tribune in Mesa, Arizona. In addition, Ms. Dwyer was
a member of the Arizona State University Women’s Swim Team and won the Wings of
Gold Student Athlete Award. She also worked as an intern for Secretary Mel Martinez
of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Office of Public
Affairs in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Dwyer received her J.D. from the
University of San Diego School of Law in 2005.
During law school, Ms. Dwyer was a member of the San Diego Law Review and a recipient
of the Entering Academic and Academic Achievement Scholarships. Ms. Dwyer was admitted to the California Bar in 2005.
