Bentley Stansbury is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office, where his legal practice centers on securities, employment and international commerce. He graduated in 1999 from the University of California, Berkeley (cum laude) and thereafter obtained his juris doctorate
from the University of Southern California in 2003. That same year, he was admitted to the California Bar and joined Keesal, Young & Logan.
Mr. Stansbury has tried civil cases on both the plaintiff and defense side, with the majority of his practice focusing on defending broker-dealers in securities and employment matters. He has also drafted numerous appellate briefs that have been argued before the California Appellate Courts and the Ninth Circuit.
In addition to his civil practice, Mr. Stansbury has litigated a number of cases before arbitral forums such as the AAA, JAMS and FINRA. His defense verdicts have been published in the Daily Journal and Securities Awards Monthly. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Mr. Stansbury was recognized by Law & Politics Magazine
as one of Southern California’s "Rising Stars."
He has been a member of KYL’s Associate Charitable Foundation since 2003 and is active in raising awareness regarding mental health issues on behalf of the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI).
