Audette Paul Morales is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. Her practice focuses on securities and employment matters, including both litigation and counseling.
Since joining Keesal, Young & Logan in October 2001, Ms. Morales regularly defends financial services firms and individual securities brokers in matters involving claims for suitability, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, negligence, elder abuse, breach of contract and violation of federal and state securities and consumer protection laws, before securities arbitration forums, such as FINRA (formerly the NASD and the NYSE), and in state and federal court. She also works on a wide variety of general business and litigation matters. She has assisted clients with securities class action work, Central Registration Depository record expungements through FINRA, and contract disputes for the City of Long Beach. In addition, Ms. Morales represents employers in administrative and arbitration proceedings involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, trade secret and raiding claims. She also assists clients with advisory issues, including creating employee policy manuals.
In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Ms. Morales was recognized by
Law & Politics Magazine as one of Southern California's "Rising Stars." Ms. Morales is actively involved with Keesal, Young & Logan's Associate Charitable Foundation as one of its founding members and is part of Keesal, Young & Logan's " Green Team," an interdepartmental group dedicated to reducing the firm's carbon footprint through evaluating and implementing Earth-friendly polices, purchasing and education.
Ms Morales is also a commission member and liaison for The Village Nursery School in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
Ms. Morales attended the University of Virginia and graduated from the University of Southern California where she received her B.A. degree in political science in 1995. In 2000, Ms. Morales earned her J.D. degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, and in 2002, she earned her M.B.A. from the University of San Diego School of Business. While in law school, Ms. Morales was a member of the Women's Law Caucus and the Pro Bono Law Association. Ms. Morales is admitted to practice law before all state and federal courts in California.
