AUDETTE PAUL MORALES

Practice Areas: Employment, Securities 

Audette Paul Morales is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. Her practice focuses on securities and employment matters, including both litigation and counseling.

Since joining Keesal, Young & Logan in October 2001, Ms. Morales regularly defends financial services firms and individual securities brokers in matters involving claims for suitability, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, negligence, breach of contract and violation of federal and state securities laws before securities arbitration forums, such as FINRA (formerly the NASD and the NYSE). She has also worked on a wide variety of general business and litigation matters and assisted clients with securities class action work, Central Registration Depository record expungements from the NASD, and contract disputes for the City of Long Beach. In addition, Ms. Morales represents employers in administrative and arbitration proceedings involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, trade secret and raiding claims. She also assists clients with advisory issues, including creating employee policy manuals.

Ms. Morales attended the University of Virginia and graduated from the University of Southern California where she received her B.A. degree in political science in 1995. In 2000, Ms. Morales received her J.D. degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, and in 2002, she received her M.B.A. from the University of San Diego School of Business. While in law school, Ms. Morales was a member of the Women's Law Caucus and the Pro Bono Law Association. She was recognized by Law & Politics Magazine as one of Southern California's "Rising Stars" in 2007. Ms. Morales is admitted to practice law before all state and federal courts in California.
