In 1991, the lawyers of Keesal, Young & Logan started a Charitable Foundation.  Since its inception, the Foundation has donated nearly $7 million to charities focused on education, children, medicine, and the arts.

Further, the firm’s lawyers volunteer their time to support a variety of worthwhile charitable and educational organizations, including the San Francisco Chapter of the American Red Cross, Koret Family House at UCSF Children’s Hospital, the Assistance League of Long Beach, the San Francisco Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, San Francisco, Miller’s Children’s Hospital Pet Therapy Program, the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI), the San Pedro Marine Mammal Care Center, and the Salvation Army’s Kroc Community Center.  Finally, the firm’s lawyers volunteer their time to perform pro bono work with Legal Aid and Public Counsel and to perform voluntary mediation services for the San Francisco and Marin Superior Courts and the Federal District Courts.

Annual Boys & Girls Club Luncheon

In 1995, Keesal, Young & Logan began hosting an annual luncheon for 300 community leaders and business executives to help raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach.  The luncheons have raised nearly $1 Million for the Boys and Girls Clubs.  Featured speakers at the events have included British Prime Minister Lady Margaret Thatcher, President George H.W. Bush, Senator Bill Bradley, President Gerald Ford, Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger, The Right Honourable John Major, Senator John Glenn, New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, General Tommy Franks, Bobby Kennedy, Jr., President William Jefferson Clinton, Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
